A special cultural history rarity is this early 20th century photo album in the stock of the Veszprém Archiepiscopal Library. The 24x17 cm document registered under call number 42367 contains three photo serieses.
The first seven photos depict the cathedral renewed in neo-Romanesque style and the resanctification of the church on 4 October 1910. The value of the pictures is further increased by the notes of owner Ernő Molnár, with which we can identify the participating prelates and the priests standing around. Unlike the fashion of the era, these pictures are not static or staged, the photographer recorded the actual scenes of the event.

The album contains three artistic photos of the Risen Savior church built by Bishop Károly Hornig (1888–1917). The church often referred to as “Károly church” by the locals also served as the burial place of the builder bishop and crown cardinal.
The book ends with a photo series of five photos of the episcopal palace in which one can see the interior prepared for Franz Joseph’s visit in 1908. The view of the royal suite and the rooms is considered a historical rarity.
